Somnium Illis - plug

Hi guys!

I'm after some feedback for my latest short - Somnium Illis.
It's about 22Mb, and in quicktime format.

I enjoyed it. I think you acheived a definate creepy atmosphere.
To be critical -
Get better props -LRP weapons look like LRP weapons.
Do better lighting - lighting was unimaginative and not very even
Camera - the pans looked handheld, and focus in and out (yeah so what?) and the framing could have been tighter I thought.
Music was spot on
The two bald thugs were excellent!
The gun effects weren't
Your lead actress looked like she needed a bit better direction.

But blimey, I thought it was quite original!

I thought it was "okay" and it kept my attention throughout. Pretty much agree with Eddy. Assuming this was edited on a NLE it's a bit unadventourous with the colour grading. Subtle colour alteration, like a good soundtrack, can add a lot to the atmosphere unconsciously.

I don't see it passing the acid test of a "hardcore" romzom audience, it doesn't appear to be a com, but there's plenty to laugh at in terms of "special" visual effects.

I quite like the premise and the hook works well, but zombies are such a cop out ;-)
